Dear subscribers, you have received the April 2024 Dance Vignettes last night. Happy May Day!
One more difficult-to-write issue. I think that we need to reflect how and whether we can continue with our art while a genocide is ongoing. It is seven months now that Palestinian people are killed and maimed and starved.
What can we do to help, as artists who serve the arts of the affected people and region?
PS/If you have subscribed but have not confirmed the subscription, please, check your spam folders or send me a message to add you to the newsletter list of subscribers, so that you receive the newsletter. After a long time that I was reluctant to reach out people who had not confirmed their subscription. I had to fight back my inner voice “maybe they changed their mind” and I tried to contact them to see whether they had received the confirmation email at all. You know, sometimes technology things happen, so please, if you subscribed and you have not been receiving my newsletter, feel free to contact me.
With the newsletter you always have news about dance, my spare wannabe-organised thoughts about dance, music and culture, and the quote of the month and the tip of the month, right in your inbox. Take care!
